  • Improved UI consistency and development velocity by implementing a styled-components library. Reduced content deployment time by migrating to Contentful CMS, enabling non-engineering teams to self-serve.

  • Accelerated feature development for Rooms To Go's e-commerce platform during COVID-era demand spikes, supporting tens of thousands of products managed through a Gatsby/CMS stack.
  • Improved the search experience by augmenting Algolia results with product images. Increased revenue opportunities by building an Add-ons feature directly into the checkout flow.

  • Built editorial tooling in React and Node.js to replace a sunsetting CMS, enabling CNN editors to create and publish news content faster.
  • Developed a real-time collaborative editor for live event coverage using Quill.js and ShareDB, allowing editors to simultaneously contribute to the same story. This fundamentally changed how CNN's editorial team coordinated during breaking news.
